It is time to register for our Annual 2009 Alumni Chapter Conference. Please note the following instructions:

Registration Deadline:
August 15, 2009 for housing at Springhill Suites and Cotton Tree Inn Sept 1, 2009 for housing at Super 8

Housing:
We will again accommodate as many as possible on two nights (Thursday and Friday) of the conference. This year, housing at Aspen Grove is not available. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Provo Super 8 (across from the stadium) also at the Provo Cotton Tree Inn and the new Provo Springhill Suites. Space is limited; therefore Chapter representatives will have top priority. Additional people attending from chapters will be housed at cost if space is available.

At Super 8 a $70.00 charge will apply to those spending extra nights or when additional rooms may be required. The Cotton Tree Inn will cost $20.00 per night for the first two nights, additional nights or rooms are $90.00 per night. The Springhill Suites will cost $30.00 per night for the first two nights, additional nights or rooms are $100.00 per night. Should you need housing on Wednesday night, September 16 in addition, please contact us and we will try to make the necessary arrangements.

At times chapter representatives prefer to stay in other accommodations or with relatives. That is certainly understandable. If you would like assistance on obtaining a BYU rate at one of the local hotels contact Roy Brinkerhoff or Deidre Edmunds at 1-800-437-4663.

Meals:
We need a dependable count of those eating meals so the correct amount of food can be ordered. On the registration form, please check which meals you will join and the number of people eating. Additional guests over the two complimentary per chapter will be charged as explained below.

Children:
You are welcome to bring children, but be aware that no special programs or meals are being planned.

Additional People from Chapter:
The Alumni Association will host two (2) people from each Chapter. You are welcome to have additional people from your chapters attend the conference. Charges will apply to the additional people. Accommodations at the arranged housing options may not be available beyond one couple, or room, per chapter, and the additional cost per person will be paid by the individual. Please submit an additional registration form for each additional person or couple.

Travel Awards:
This year awards will be based on attendance at the conference. Chapters who indicate their interest in receiving travel aid will be included in the awards. A chapter may opt out by not submitting their interest.

On campus Chapter/Student gatherings:
Those chapters wishing to schedule a gathering of students during the conference must reserve a room in advance. To schedule rooms, email alumnichaptersast@byu.edu or phone 801 422-4954. Rooms will be assigned on a first come basis.

Shuttles
We understand that most people will want to control their own modes of transportation, however; it is possible to attend this conference and not rent a car. There is a shuttle service from the Salt Lake Airport to Utah County, the Provo Cotton Tree Inn has a shuttle within the Provo area, as does Springhill Suites. All are within walking distance.

Should you want to use the shuttles and not a car:
Contact Express Shuttle on line at http://www.xpressshuttle.com/salt_lake_city.htm or by phone at 1-800-397-0773 to make reservations and to receive pricing information.
